Peer Support Services

Peer Support is when one provides another with knowledge, experience, emotional, social or practical help. The most powerful thing we can do is to share our experience with another person.

“If the pain of your story is not transformed, it will be transmitted.” ~Richard Rohr

At Great Bear Community Collective, we support all pathways to recovery. Our ultimate objective is to meet a person in need on the level that they are at. Our goal is to find the optimum path for success based on an individual’s strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. We provide Peer Support Services in the form of Recovery Coaching, Mutual Aid Support Groups, and Advocacy Training.

Our Recovery Coaching programs and other Peer Support Services are provided by individuals who have found success in recovery and wish to share it back. In addition, we provide access to Advocacy Training programs, which encourage recovery community members to stay informed on and help to influence local policies of interest.
