Recovery Coaching

DO YOU NEED A RECOVERY COACH?

A Peer Recovery Coach is a person who is actively and authentically engaged in a recovery pathway.  Accordingly, they have lived experience and can provide support to fellow peers struggling with substance use. The role of a Recovery Coach is to assist a coachee in identifying their Recovery Capital, and in turn gain more. Recovery Capital refers to the quality and quantity of internal and external resources that one can use to sustain their recovery from addiction.

Furthermore, a recovery coach can help you to create an action plan. Otherwise known as a set of goals that will help you to build your recovery capital. Ultimately, this plan can help you to better succeed in your recovery.
